Design & Execution
Our end-to-end design and execution service takes a project from concept through completion. The process begins with spatial planning, floor plans, furniture layouts, and 3D visualisations, followed by a complete set of GFC (Good-for-Construction) drawings.
From there, we bring the design to life through sourcing and procurement, furniture and material selections, bespoke curation, vendor coordination, and complete on-site execution. Every stage is closely managed and supervised by our team to ensure the finished space reflects the vision it was designed with.
Design Services
For clients who require design services only, we offer a complete interior design service including spatial planning, furniture layouts, floor plans, 3D visualisations, and a complete set of GFC (Good-for-Construction) drawings.
We remain involved through site supervision, ensuring every detail is executed to the required standard, the quality of workmanship is maintained, and the integrity of the design is preserved throughout the process.
Styling Services
Our styling service is designed for completed spaces that are ready to be layered with warmth, the House of Buras way.
We source and curate furniture, lighting, art, textiles, and decorative objects, bringing together handcrafted House of Buras pieces with thoughtfully sourced vintage, artisan, and collected pieces to create homes that feel warm, personal, and beautifully collected over time.

What is House of Buras?
House of Buras is an interior design studio rooted in timeless taste, offering bespoke design services and a curated selection of handcrafted pieces. We believe in bringing back the charm of classics, the warmth of handmade craftsmanship, and the beauty of imperfection.
Inspired by our roots in Uttarakhand, the brand reflects the essence of the Buransh flower that only blooms in the Himalayas — beautiful, rare and deeply rooted.
At its core, House of Buras is a simple pursuit of making homes more beautiful through intentional design and a labour of love.
Founders' Story

Ayush
I grew up in Dehradun, surrounded by the mountains of Uttarakhand. Much of my childhood was spent travelling through hill stations like Mussoorie and Nainital. What stayed with me wasn't just the landscape — it was the homes.
Those places quietly shaped my idea of what a home should feel like: timeless, layered, comforting, full of character.
The old colonial cottages tucked away in the hills, the fireplaces, wooden floors, French windows, panelled walls, oversized lamps, gardens that blended effortlessly into the mountains. There was a warmth and a sense of belonging in those spaces that I couldn't explain as a child, but I never forgot.
The name House of Buras comes from one of the most cherished parts of my childhood. Buransh, or Rhododendron, is the vibrant crimson flower that blooms in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand. Growing up, Buransh juice was a part of every summer, and the flower became a symbol of home, the mountains, and everything I loved about where I came from.
I always knew that if I ever built something of my own, it would carry that name. Even our langur emblem is a quiet tribute to the forests and landscapes that shaped me. Every element of House of Buras is rooted in where I come from and the values I grew up with. That became the foundation of my design philosophy.
With House of Buras, my goal is to bring back that feeling — to create homes that aren't driven by trends, but by emotion. Spaces that feel collected over time, deeply personal, and lived in. Homes that, much like those mountain cottages, make you exhale the moment you walk through the door.

Building House of Buras with Ayush has changed the way I think about homes. Watching that transformation unfold for our clients has been one of the greatest privileges of this journey.
Beautiful spaces are about far more than aesthetics — they shape how we feel, how we connect, and how a home becomes our sanctuary.
What I love most is collecting and curating beautiful pieces, travelling in search of inspiration, working with incredibly talented Indian artisans, and discovering the extraordinary craftsmanship that exists across our country. It continues to inspire me every day. Seeing some of our ideas evolve into beautiful pieces that eventually become part of someone's home is something that never stops feeling special.
Just as important to me are the people. I love the relationships we build along the way, getting to know our clients, understanding how they live, and creating homes that feel like a true reflection of who they are. Our work is deeply personal, and that's what makes it so meaningful.
Together, Ayush and I are building homes with soul — homes that are timeless, warm, layered, and built with love and intention. Alongside them, we're creating a collection of pieces that we hope will be lived with, collected over time, and cherished for generations.
